Last Call for JK and British Relays

By Sam Massey , 25 February, 2010

If theres anyone that still wishes to enter the relays for either the JK or British Championships. Please check the following

article and get in touch with Jane asap:

http://www.southampton-orienteers.org.uk/content/jk-and-british-relays

Its anticipated that the club contributes 50% of the relay entry fee, its also a rare opportunity to orienteer as part of team. The JK event is on the same terrain (Braunton Burrows) as the Sunday Classic event, so you'll be able to rectify all those mistakes on the classic sand dune area.

Club Night Tuesday 2nd March at Wide Lane

By Kevin Bracher , 24 February, 2010

The next SOC Club night Tuesdau 2nd March 19:30 - 21:30.

We will be concentrating on demonstrating mapping techniques prior to putting the techniques into practice updating the Lakeside Map at future club nights.

You can also bring along your maps from recent events and share your thoughts on these events. Or just come along to socialise.

Last months meeting was well attended and I for one have started to use route gaget to upload my routes and compare with other competitors.

See you all tuesday!
