Summer Series 3 Southampton Sports Centre Saturday 8th May

I have updated the details for this event, follow the links from the 'Events' section on the left of this page.

Gill and I also need a few helpers on the day. We particularly need a couple of people to help put controls out, 2 or 3 to man the registration start/finish area, and a couple of people to patrol the vunerable control sites during the event.

Again we hope to get many beginners along to the event, so if the experienced orienteers at the event are willing to help get people started that would be great - just ask on the day.

Club Night Tuesday 4th May at the University Sports Ground 1930 hrs.

We plan to Strart the update of the Lakeside Map with a walk about teaming expirienced mappers up with people who want to learn about mapping.

The walk about is to establish what needs updating on the Map. Understanding mapping will help you with your own navigation so come along and see what it all entails.

We will still have time to talk about recent events so bring along your recent maps etc.

Please try and make contact at the individual event on Saturday in case your team needs to be changed.

Note: We will try and put the Club Tent up on Saturday if we arrive with enough time to spare. The Tent will definitely be up for the Relay Day. As usual help putting the tent up and taking it down would be appreciated.
